Optimist Park: A Separate Nearby Neighborhood

Optimist Park is its own neighborhood, northeast of Uptown along the light-rail corridor. It is not part of Camp North End and is not one of the campus's immediate neighbors.

Optimist Hall is here — not at Camp North End

Optimist Hall, a food hall in a reused mill building, is in Optimist Park. Both are industrial reuse projects, but they are different places with different operators. Photos of one should never be labeled as the other.

Getting between them

Plan this as a short drive. Do not assume a comfortable walking route between the two.

Homes

Optimist Park has seen substantial new townhome and apartment construction alongside older homes. Research properties individually.
